FAQ

1. Q: What makes your granola bars so special?
A: The first difference you will notice is that our bars are found in the refrigerated section of the grocery store.  With no preservatives and fresh, raw ingredients, keeping us cool is the best way to make us last!  You'll also notice our bars are nutrient dense and bigger than average. We made them this way because active, busy people need something healthy that will truly keep them going.  Our motto is convenience without compromise - take us wherever you go knowing we're both delicious and healthy!

2. Q: How many carbs are in your bars?
A: There are 30g of carbs in our bars that come from complex carbohydrates in the form of all-natural seeds, nuts and gluten-free rolled oats.

3. Q: How much sugar is in your bars?
A: There are only 13g of natural sweeteners in our bars from Nova Scotian pure organic maple syrup, which has many nutritional benefits that other sweeteners do not, and organic agave, which is a low glycemic-index sweetener that will not spike your blood sugar. Compared to other popular granola bars that can be up to 40% sugar, our bars are only 16% sugar.

4. Q: Are your bars certified organic?
A: Our bars are certified organic by Pro-Cert Canada and by extension, non-GMO.  If you would like to see our certification documentation, just let us know!

5. Q: How much fat is in your bars?
A: There are 24g of fat in each bar, which comes from all natural seeds and nuts that are full of essential omega-3 fats from flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, almonds and cashews.

6. Q: How much protein in in your bars?
A: There are 11g of all-natural protein in each of our bars.

7. Q: How many calories are in your bars?
A: There are 370 calories in each 74g bar from all natural ingredients with no fillers or preservatives.

8. Q: How long do your bars last?
A: Our bars will keep fresh for eight weeks in the refrigerator. They also freeze very nicely where they can be kept for up to 3 months.  Unlike mainstream bars, we don't use any preservatives (who wants to eat a year old granola bar anyway?!) Wanna take us on a trip? No worries, our bars are good to go unrefrigerated for 7 days, so toss us in your lunch bag, gym bag, suitcase, or glove box!

9. Q: Are your bars dairy free?
A: All of our ingredients are dairy and gluten free.

10: Q: Do you make your bars yourself?
A: Yes, Goodness to Go is a small family business and our bars are handmade locally in small batches in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and Gatineau, Quebec.
